OPENING:
The meeting was called to
order at 7:00pm by Chairman Abraham who also led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Chairman Abraham asked if
there were any questions, additions or deletions to the minutes from the July
27, 2016 meeting. Member Gross noted in
the 7.27.16 a correction under the section Opening: Town Alternate Lipiski
correct spelling should be Town Alternate Member Lipiska. Member Scanlon motioned
to accept 7.27.16 minutes with the noted change. VOTE: 5 ayes; 0 nays.
Carried.

Dave Lipiska arrived to meeting.
WALEWISKI, TINA AND TREY (OWNERS OF MEADOWBROOK GOLF
COURSE): INFORMATIONAL: 2-LOT SUBDIVISION: 8702 Ball
Rd/8682 Ball Rd; #82.00-1-46.21; 55.60 acres; AR
No one present for the proposed subdivision.
Clerk Murray advised that there
has been no further communication from the Walewiski’s.
Planning Board Members were
in a consensus to remove this item from the Planning Board Agenda.
Planning Board will revisit
this topic should the board hear anything further from the Walewiski’s.
CORRESPONDENCE/OTHER ITEMS:
- Brief discussion on Solar Farms: Solar generating facilities that
are starting to evolve and what communities can do to be ready for the
solar development.
Several
members have been attending various seminars on this topic and feel it’s
important to implement some local laws governing these facilities. Member Gross
will follow up with some recommendations to present to the Town Board on behalf
of Planning Board.
CLOSING:
At 7:35 pm, Member Ostrowski motioned to adjourn the
meeting. Member Scanlon seconded the
motion. VOTE: 5 ayes; 0 nays. Carried.
