Planning Board Members Present: John Abraham (V), Frank Gross (V), Dave Lipiska
(T-Alt), John Mlodzianoski (V-Alt), Derek Ostrowski (V&T), Jim Scanlon (T),
Nancy Sweet (V) Thomas Taylor (T-Alt)
Absent: Joe
Barwinczok (T), Don Bowden (T), Ed O’Neil (V-Alt)
Also Present: Lynette Murray— Planning Board Clerk

OPENING:
The meeting was called to
order at 7:00pm by Chairman Ostrowski who also led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Chairman Ostrowski asked if
there were any questions, additions or deletions to the minutes from the August
23, 2017 meeting. Member Gross motioned
to accept the 8.23.17 minutes as written. Member Abraham second the motion. VOTE:
5 ayes; 0 nays. Carried.
CORRESPONDENCE/OTHER ITEMS:
- Discussion on Solar Farms
(proposed ordinance): Members
made suggestions to the sample ordinance for solar photovoltaic systems.
Suggestions included the following:
- Restriction to keep the energy produced local. Other members
suggested this may be difficult to regulate if property is not owned by
Town or Village.
- Disconnect Switch/Kill Switch should there be a fire or other form
of hazardous situation.
- Specific height requirements for both ground and roof mounted
systems.
- The potential affects to neighboring properties.
Member
Gross was going to go through and make some discussed changes and Chairman
Ostrowski has tabled this topic to the October 25, 2017 Planning Board Meeting.
CLOSING:
7:50 pm, Member Scanlon motioned to adjourn the
meeting. Member Abraham seconded the
motion. VOTE: 5 ayes; 0 nays. Carried.
